The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, and the president of Guadalentín Emprende, Miguel Ángel Sola, opened this morning the 7th Business and Development Conference "Wadalab" that was held at the Parador de Turismo de Lorca.
The Mayor of Lorca has indicated that "" Wadalab "is a laboratory of ideas that has allowed to reflect and offer solutions to the challenges posed by the business world within the economy of the Region of Murcia, counting during its development with speakers such as the communicator Manu Sánchez, the presidents of Proexport, Juan Marín, Segura Hydrographic Confederation, Miguel Ángel Ródenas, Alimer, Julián Díaz, the INFO director, Joaquín Gómez, or the local boss of the newspaper La Verdad, Manuel Buitrago, among others ".
Fulgencio Gil stressed that "Lorca is a municipality that undertakes, we all know it." It has been proven especially during the hard years of the crisis, when young, and not so young, were launched into the business world with their good ideas and predisposition by flag, fighting against the difficulties in the most difficult moments.Now, when we are in a moment of expansion for the economy and the productive sector, it is necessary not to lower the guard but, on the contrary, to take advantage of the wind in favor to reach all those objectives. "
The First Edil added that "we know that with ideas and predisposition is not enough, we must add effort, work, perseverance, and also learn from others, from what is done in the same sector or in different sectors, learn success models. and study the formulas that have led him towards excellence to inspire our strategies, that is what Guadalentín Emprende has allowed us through Wadalab, we have had the opportunity to enjoy a very complete but compact program in just a few hours " .
In the first place, the round table "Agriculture, water and public image" was developed with the participation of seven speakers.
The second round table of the day was "Women, Entrepreneurship, Culture and Power" and in it speakers from both academia and the business world participated. The morning session ended with the motivational talk of the renowned comedian, actor and businessman Manu Sánchez.
The afternoon program has started with the Pecha Kucha, presentation format where it is exposed in a simple and informal way about a company through 20 slides of 20 seconds.
The participating companies have been Verectis, Drónica, Mármoles and Granitos José María Miñarro, Casa Rojo and CC Limousine.
Then there was the round table "Entrepreneurship in all times and in all conditions" that has had both experienced entrepreneurs and presidents of various associations of young entrepreneurs.
The program has ended with the round table "Family Business", which has meant the closure of this very complete and interesting day.
Gil, finally, has indicated that "it has been an enriching day and that has allowed us to continue consolidating our municipality as a land of business activity, economy and synergies, good ideas but, above all, hard-working and eager people I want to show my congratulations to Guadalentín Embark on this initiative and encourage them to continue working together, because we fully share the same objectives.
