Ciudadanos Lorca proposes that, as happens during the Fair and Festivities of Lorca, that the City Council through the Department of Public Safety sets up a special device, during the Christmas season should reinforce the police presence on foot, the so-called ' Police of proximity' in the zones of greater affluence during these dates.
This plan usually involves an additional effort for all the professionals who are part of it, whose work is coordinated to keep the city protected, "especially in commercial areas, the children's playground, outdoor play and music activities, visits to the Nativity scenes, the days in which we tend to be more in the streets of the city, "says the mayor.
Meca explains that the members of the Local Police that form part of this local police that already exists in many Spanish cities, "should provide their service and surveillance both in uniform and civilian, in order to deter potential offenders of good coexistence and respond effectively with this at every moment ".
