Mateos recalled that the monumental complex "is not completely restored", which are of great interest the paintings of the church, the dressing room of the Virgin and the staircase of the Tota Pulcra, and that have endured the slowness and lack of commitment for years. by the different administrations.

The Government has proposed this investment in two annuities: 200,000 euros to run in 2018 and 178,000 for 2010. "A very important investment, necessary to stop the deterioration of these murals so significant for the monumental set of the Sanctuary and for the whole of the heritage of both the city and the Region of Murcia ".
