Abellán: Gil Jódar's announcement is a smokescreen to hide his vote against some PGE that benefited Lorca with more than 16 million euros and 50% of IBI rewarded those affected by earthquakes.

The deputy spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Isidro Abellán described as "curtain of smoke" the measure announced by the Mayor of Lorca to cover the tremendous setback that is the pocket of the Lorca to vote against the bonus of 50% of the IBI, of the games of 3 million euros for works in districts or the items to repair San Juan, the murals of the Convent of the Virgen de las Huertas or the Palace of Justice and that were included in the PGE rejected yesterday.

Abellán reminds Gil Jódar that "social justice" was to have voted yesterday favor of the most social PGE in history, so as not to have to cover up with patches and sloppy solutions, and with an unpredictable result, the nonsense of the parliamentarians of the popular groups and citizens, made joining their votes to the Catalan separatists with the sole desire to overthrow President Sánchez.

"The time was yesterday, along with the rest of the investments planned in the PGE for an amount of more than 16 million euros," Abellán insists.

Now it is late, he adds, because if as expected, the Cortes are dissolved, the formula proposed by the Mayor via Royal Decree will be unfeasible since it can not be validated by the Congress of Deputies.

Abellán points out that the only people who have played with the Lorca have been the parliamentarians of the Popular Party and citizens along with their new partners, the Catalan pro-independence, who have preferred politicking to solutions to Lorca.

The socialist mayor says that the PSOE of Lorca "will always be with the necessary solutions, govern who governs in Madrid", putting the interests of Lorca and Lorca to the electoral or partisan interests.

"The solution was in the PGE that were going to include an amendment to solve the question of the interests of delay for the aid, a problem that will remain unresolved by the vote against pro-independence and popular," he stresses.

For all this, Abellán insists that the PSOE will continue to seek solutions, either with this "occurrence" of the Mayor of unpredictable results or with other more serious proposals, to alleviate the neglect and lack of commitment of this government team and his surrender to his bosses of Murcia and Madrid.

What will happen to the remaining 50% if it ends 2019 without new PGE ?.

"If it had been voted in favor of the PGE would be clear, would not be charged to Lorca, but now stays in the air," says Abellán.
