The Brotherhood of Laborers, Paso Azul, will celebrate next Sunday February 17 the act of twinning with the Pontifical, Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus in the Painful Step of Prendimiento and Hope for the Salvation of the Souls, better known as Brotherhood California from the neighboring city of Cartagena.
The act, which will start at 10 h.
with the celebration of the Holy Mass in the church of San Francisco, it aims to formalize the historical, passionate and brotherly ties that unite these institutions in order to foster both the bonds of brotherhood among the brothers as well as collaboration and mutual support of the entities.
It should be remembered that in 2015, a lorquina delegation traveled to the port city.
There, blues and californios signed a twinning act, although this time it was between the youth sections of both brotherhoods fruit of the excellent Lorca-Cartagena relationship forged over several years.
From Paso Azul all the mayordomos, cofrades, associates and blues in general are encouraged to participate in this day of special value for the Brotherhood and that will undoubtedly become part of the history of Lorca and Cartagena.
