The PP denounces that the lack of dedication of the current mayor of Limusa is delaying the awarding of contracts for two key services in the CGR (18/07/2019)

• The contracting tables for the treatment of leachates and the operations with the rest fraction are still not held.

The mayor responsible for Limusa has only visited the company's headquarters on one occasion, and to say hello.

The Popular Councilman of Limusa in the City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martinez, has denounced this morning that this municipal company continues to this day paralyzed by the lack of dedication of the current local government, which has not even held the meetings of the tables of contracting corresponding to the contracting of the transport and treatment of leachate generated by the Waste Management Center (CGR), nor the one that had to be developed for the Service of 11 workers who are in charge of the treatment and recovery of materials of the collection of Fracción Rest and of light containers, and other 2 workers dedicated to the maintenance of machinery and vehicles of the CGR.

Martínez Carrasco has revealed that the deadline for receiving offers in both tender procedures has already been completed.

In fact in the first case ended on May 25, while the second ended on July 4.

From the PP we have corroborated that there is no evidence that there has been any meeting of the respective recruitment tables to proceed with its award, and this despite the fact that the new mayor of Limusa officially holds the delegation of powers for several weeks.

The PP councilor has said that the current mayor of Limusa has to start managing the company already, since we are talking about a task that must fully assume, allocating the hours that are needed, as they have done their predecessors in office .

Limusa can not be stopped, and if you do not have a councilor fully dedicated to this task leading the work, we are all Lorca who suffer the consequences.

What we can not tolerate is that the lack of dedication of a councilor, is resisting all the service, including specifically holding the hiring tables that are essential for the CGR to continue operating as effectively as it came doing it so far.

Juan Francisco Martínez has demanded that the current municipal government open and evaluate the offers presented in reference to these issues, mainly because these tasks are being executed within an extension calculated to cover the development of the contracting procedure.

This moratorium, if not already completed, is about to do so.

Therefore, the current mayor is obliged to avoid the circumstance that both companies come to provide the service entrusted without any legal backing.
