The City of Lorca offers passengers two buses to travel to Águilas after the breakdown that occurred last night in one of the suburbs at Sutullena train station (11/08/2019)

From the first moment, the Councilor for Public Safety, José Luís Ruiz Guillén, appeared at the station to see first hand the situation of these passengers and carry out the necessary steps.

An incident that occurred last night due to the poor condition of one of the cars of the convoy that covered the Lorca-Águilas route, caused several young people who wanted to travel to Águilas to stay at Sutullena station.

From the first moment, the Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, José Luís Ruiz Guillén, appeared at the train station to know first-hand the situation of these passengers and carried out the necessary steps to guarantee the displacement of these 71 people

Two buses were made available to passengers managed by the Department of Public Safety and, even, a police unit moved four passengers to the Jaravía-Pulpí Station to "not divert buses."

In addition, Ruiz Guillén said that "we are in contact with the Government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Francisco Jiménez, to carry out all the necessary procedures to accelerate the process of renovation and maintenance of a vital infrastructure for communication of Lorca and Lorca, as well as citizens of neighboring towns and, of course, tourists who visit our coast during these weeks. "
