The consortium "Tour is you" (05/11/2019)

Friday, January 17 / 9:00 pm |

To talk about the Consortium, it is inevitable to refer to Mocedades, since all its members belonged to that group, the only Hispanic group that has sold a million copies of a single sung entirely in Spanish.

A story that began there in the late 60s, when eight young Bilbao students passionate about folk music gathered to unleash their musical vocation.

Mocedades was born, one of the most emblematic and fundamental groups of Spanish music of the last half century, and that has its continuation in the Consortium.

The Consortium formed by Amaya Uranga, Estíbaliz Uranga, Iñaki Uranga, and Carlos Zubiaga, is the vocal group par excellence of our country and its great successes remain, such as “Take me or leave meâ€, “The sellerâ€, “The other Spainâ€, "What will happen tomorrow", "Secretary", "Who will sing to you", "Since you have left", "Love of man", "Where are you heart" "They called him crazy" ...

Their magnificent voices, with a filling and unmatched quality, led them to conquer a Latin Grammy in 2016.

The Consortium is born from this prize of honor, it's you ... "More than 50 great successes".

In this tour, which will go through the stage of the Guerra de Lorca Theater at the beginning of the year (January 17, 2020), we can listen to a selection of its 50 best hits and two great unpublished songs.

His first single “While I waitâ€, composed by Jose Luis Perales and another of the unpublished songs is by Juan Carlos Calderón (Guess), irreplaceable figure in the biography of the group, as well as a great version of the Bilbao theme with music by the great Bertolt Brecht and lyrics by Víctor Manuel San José.
