This activity is organized by the Association La Carrasca in collaboration with the City of Lorca and the support of the Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia.

The Councilor for the Environment of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén recalled that, for the day of this Sunday, November 17, a new day of planting trees under the slogan "A citizen, a tree" is planned.

The Councilor for the Environment has detailed that "this activity will take place in the surroundings of Los Pilones, specifically at the entrance to the Cejo de los Enamorados path, next to the Caño de Agua from 10 am to approximately 12 noon".

Ruiz Guillén explained that among the tree species olive trees, carrasco, lentisco and carob trees will be planted, and recalled that "it is not necessary to take anything or register, just be at the scheduled time in the place of the call."

Finally, the councilor has encouraged all Lorca to participate in this environmental activity that has been so well received in all his appointments since you can go with family or friends, to spend a good morning enjoying such a wonderful environment like the one we have only a few minutes from the town center of Lorca ".

This activity is organized by the La Carrasca Association, the La Carrasca Hiker Club and La Carrasca Lorca Trail in collaboration with the City of Lorca and the support of the Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia.
