With this competition the 2019/2020 Program starts, and on this occasion, IES Ros Giner, IES Ibáñez Martín, IES Ramón Arcas, IES Prince of Asturias, IES San Juan Bosco, IESO Sierra de Almenara, IESO Pedanías Altas, Colegio San will participate Francisco, Madre de Dios School, Ciudad del Sol School and IES Bartolomé Pérez Casas.
The permanent circuit of Cross Country, of the 'Sports Complex of La Torrecilla, Ginés Antonio Vidal Ruiz' will host, tomorrow Tuesday, November 19, the local phase of School Sports in the modality of Cross Country for the categories of children, cadet and youth.
This competition, organized by the Department of Sports and included in the 2019-2020 School Sports Program, will have a total of 1360 schoolchildren, belonging to secondary schools in our town: IES Ros Giner, IES Ibáñez Martín, IES Ramón Arcas, IES Prince of Asturias, IES San Juan Bosco, IESO Sierra de Almenara, IESO Pedanías Altas, San Francisco School, Madre de Dios School, Ciudad del Sol School and IES Bartolomé Pérez Casas.
The competition will begin at 10:15 a.m.
and the categories and distances of the test will be the following:
Infantile Female: Distance: 1620 m.
(10:15 h.)
Male Infant: Distance: 1620 m.
(10:40 h.)
Female Cadet and Youth: Distance: 1840 m.
(11:10 h.)
Male Cadet: Distance: 2340 m.
(11:40 h.)
Juvenile Male: Distance: 2340 m.
(12:15 h.)
It should be remembered that, with this activity, the starting point is given to the set of tests and sports modalities that make up the extensive calendar of both collective and individual sports competitions of the School Sports Program that, year after year, starts the Department of Sports together with the General Directorate of Sports and the teaching centers of the municipality.
