The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillen has informed that the Local Police, within the preventive actions that are carried out, and specifically the Incident and Proximity Unit (UDIP) has proceeded to arrest in the Almendricos hamlet of a person of Spanish nationality, 32 years old, for an alleged crime of robbery with force.
The mayor of Public Safety has detailed that "the action took place on the night of last Sunday, November 24, when the 092 central received the call by a commuter of the Lorca Águilas suburban train, informing that upon arriving at the Almendricos station , an individual had stolen his purse by throwing it on the ground and that he ran out through the streets of the aforementioned village. "
Ruiz added that "after receiving such information, the Local Police patrol station in Almendricos began the search for this individual through the streets of the village, observing in one of them a person who matched the characteristics of the alleged perpetrator of the theft" .
The agents proceeded to their identification and in the registry they found the personal effects that corresponded to the lady who was traveling on the train, including her mobile phone, a purse with the victim's documentation and cash, so this individual He was arrested for an alleged crime of robbery with force and transferred to the Civil Guard Barracks of Lorca, where he was detained for judicial release.
The mayor of Public Safety has highlighted the work carried out by the agents of the Local Police to ensure the safety of citizens and recalled that work continues in a coordinated manner with the National Police and Civil Guard with the objective that "Lorca can continue being one of the safest municipalities.
