The Emergency Coordination Center received several calls at 4:45 p.m. informing of a traffic accident, on the RM-D3 Hoya road towards Lorca, when a tourism collided with a truck.

Emergency health services have failed to save the life of the tourist driver, a 28-year-old male, who has finally died.

The driver of the truck, a 63-year-old male, has been treated "in situ" by a Mobile Emergency Unit of the Emergency and Health Emergencies Department of 061 and has subsequently been transferred to Rafael Méndez Hospital with minor injuries.
