聲gel Meca has stated that this Work Table against Floods was formed last October with the objective of specifying and executing the necessary actions to avoid the accumulations of water that the neighbors have been suffering, especially in different areas belonging to the districts of Campillo and La Torrecilla, every time there is heavy rainfall in our region.
聲gel Meca has indicated that we do not want the same abandonment that the CHS has had at the regional level to be repeated in Lorca, since it has been something "unusual", since it was functioning positively.
The Mesa de Lorca has to move forward, working as it is doing to date, gathering the concerns and proposals of neighbors, technicians of the different administrations and political representatives.
In fact, their work is being supported by all, and is an example of good collaboration and joint search for solutions.
We are talking about a contribution that also reassures the neighbors, since they saw firsthand how politicians feel united and work on the ground to expedite the necessary projects.
From the PP the possibility that the CHS could leave this Table "giving a bang" is rejected.
It would be an irresponsible position that nobody would understand and that we rejected, since it is evident that things were being done well, with unified criteria and integrating the issues that most affected the victims.
We believe that the CHS has to remain in this Bureau, it cannot avoid its obligation or make the resignation of functions.
聲gel Meca recalled that the CHS is accumulating the pending duties with the Lorca, especially in the actions related to the cleaning of the ramblas, which today have turned the Guadalent璯 River into the "Basura River", plagued of illegal dumps, mountains of garbage and weed accumulations.
The negligence in this respect of both the current mayor and his group of councilors is total, and his colleagues at the CHS are still arms crossed.
We have to remember that last July we informed the current government of the situation, and they did nothing.
But it is that we suffered the heavy rains of September and they did not clean any channel either.
Thus, nobody understands what is motivating the current mayor and the CHS to allow the riverbed to be plagued with accumulations of personal belongings, remains of works, rubble, garbage and all kinds of waste.
We must remember that the cleaning of the rambles is the exclusive competence of the CHS, as a basin organization, so we appeal to their sensitivity to monitor the state of the channels in question and undertake the work that allows clearing those rambles on which relevant incidents that require the intervention of the administration are verified.

聲gel Meca has reiterated the imperative need to make public and consultable as soon as possible the draft of the demarcation for the recovery of the Rambla de Biznaga, a measure that the neighbors themselves are demanding.
We continue to insist that the neighbors have to know that this document is already made, and they deserve the opportunity to consult it today.
We are talking about a measure that would help keep those affected informed.
No one understands, particularly those affected, that instead of giving public access to this long-finished text, it has been stored in a drawer.
We demand that the opinion of the neighbors be counted, since nobody knows the land better than them.
