The Municipal School of Plastic and Performing Arts opens the enrollment period for the first four-month courses of the year (10/02/2020)

Painting, Sculpture, Theater Performance, Characterization and Makeup or Comic and Manga are some of the subjects that are taught again due to the success obtained in previous editions

The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, María Ángeles Mazuecos, has presented the program of the School of Plastic and Performing Arts from February to June 2020.

Mazuecos has reported that “within the School of Plastic Arts we find two courses in 'Painting, Drawing and Sculpture';

the 'Sculpture and Wood Carving' course;

two 'Painting' courses, one in the morning and one in the afternoon;

'Illustration' course;

'Comic and Manga' Course and a Children's Course of Initiation to the Plastic Arts where they will deal with painting, drawing and sculpture â€.

The Edil has detailed that “in the School of Performing Arts this first four-month period we will have three groups for the course of 'Theater Performance for Adults', a course of 'Theater Performance for Adolescents', course of 'Voice and Diction';

'Clown' course and 'Characterization and Makeup' course.

Mazuecos Moreno has indicated that “the deadline to formalize the enrollment of access to the multitude of courses offered is now open and can be done electronically, through the page www.lorca.es or at the University's own headquarters Popular, Paso Blanco street 1-under La Alberca.

The Councilor for Culture has explained that “to promote universal training we have increased the bonuses, we have reduced the price of tuition for people over 65 and people with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33 per cent by 5 percent one hundred, as in those cases in which the income of the family unit is lower than the IPREN, as well as for large families of special category.

And, large families of general category and young card holders will get a 20 percent bonus while the enrollment of a second member of the same family unit will benefit from a 10 percent discount and a 20 percent third member".

María Ángeles Mazuecos has also reported the repetition of the “traditional trip to Arco, the International Contemporary Art Fair of Madrid, which costs 119 euros and includes travel by bus and entrance to the fair.

The departure is on February 29 from Lorca by bus, at 6 in the morning, from the esplanade next to the Supermarket Day and return on March 1, at 5 in the afternoon, from the Atocha Station â€.
