The mayor of Parks and Gardens has detailed that "these are two copies of Populus alba piramidalis located in the Park of La Viña, another of the Japanese Ligustrum of the Garden of the Palace of Guevara and a fourth, a copy of Hispanic Platanus located in the Plaza Juan Moreno in La Alberca ".
Navarro Pérez recalled that the arborist brigade of the company in charge of the Maintenance and Conservation Service of the green areas of the municipality carries out periodic reviews of the entire ornamental woodland of the city and specifically, this past Monday, February 10, "An inspection was carried out whose report confirmed the urgent need to cut these four trees and that with the greatest urgency they proceed to the elimination of these specimens, and their replacement with new ones."
Finally, the mayor of Parks and Gardens has reiterated "the intention of this government team to maintain the parks and gardens of the municipality in the best conditions, as well as replace all those copies of trees that are in poor condition with new ones, "with the aim of making Lorca a healthier and, above all, more sustainable city".
