Parque Almenara Shopping Center increases its sales by 6.5% in 2019 (14/02/2020)

Mango, Base Sports, Merkal, Very Much, Juguettos, Plots +, Kiwoko, TGB and La Mafia, are some of the brands that have been incorporated this year.

The Parque Almenara Shopping Center (Lorca) has increased its Total Sale by 6.5% compared to 2018 and continues with its process of consolidating the opening of premises and job creation in the Lorquina Region.

Along the same lines, the influx of visitors to the Shopping Center has been increased by 2.35% compared to 2018.

Managed by LyC Consultores since it was acquired by the American Fund, Oak Hill Advisors in September 2017, Parque Almenara has continued its growth, increasing its occupancy rate by more than 15%, which represents a total of 8,744 m2 more occupied by new operators.

Since the end of 2017, 29 new brands have been incorporated, including: Mango, Base Sports, Merkal, Very Much, Toys, Plot +, Kiwoko, TGB and La Mafia this last year.

With the constant objective of offering a quality service, in 2019 various actions have been carried out to improve the accessibility, comfort and usability of the Center such as the roof of the corridors, the coverage of outdoor parking spaces, the renovation of the landscaped areas, and improving access to the mall.

In addition, two new children's areas and a rest area have been added, which are added to those already present in the Center, such as a bike rack, lactation room, Amazon Lockers collection point, free children's club, recycling point and free Wi-Fi.

Likewise, our objective for the year is the commercialization of Premises for Specialized Medium Surface Operators, located outside the Center, next to Media Markt. In addition, we can announce the incorporation of JD Sports, a leading urban and sports fashion brand in the United Kingdom that will strengthen the commercial sports offer of the Center . "
