The Popular Party demands its immediate call, and recalls that both the current mayor and the government delegate and the Ministry of Development committed themselves to form the Mesa on February 13, 2019 and to meet it in September 2019
The Councilor for Development in the City of Lorca for the Popular Party, Angel Meca, has claimed this morning that both the current mayor and Adif and the Ministry of Development comply with the commitment reached with the neighbors affected by the layout of the AVE in Tercia and La Hoya, proceeding to the formation and immediate convocation of the Work Table.
It is an entity that the Government Delegation, then chaired by Diego Conesa, undertook to establish before the victims themselves and the municipal political groups in February 2019.
That day they gave their word that the Work Table would meet in September 2019, without such a meeting taking place, a breach that from the PP we denounced at that time.
Today we reiterate our demand that the Bureau be put into operation now, because the agreements have to be fulfilled.
We are not worth that this matter is "cooked" in an office, avoiding the participation of those affected and the presence of public representatives.
That is not how things are done.
Ángel Meca recalled that the government delegation undertook to launch this Mesa at the same time that the construction works for the Totana-Lorca section were awarded, something that happened at the end of September last year.
All administrations have to be aware of the deep concern that exists among the victims affected by the serious conditions on housing and other private assets that the AVE plan that the central government plans to carry out, therefore we demand that the implementation in March of this Table is done with the speed that the neighbors deserve.
Since the Popular Party we have been with the victims from day one, because we already warned that the initial project had to be improved.
The Work Table has to be integrated, as it was committed, by technicians of Adif, Delegation of the Government and the Municipal Political Groups of the City of Lorca, as well as the neighborhood representatives and its objective is to achieve the modification of the projected overpasses by the central government, which have to be replaced by other underground.
That claim is already the whole society of Lorca, and from there we will not move.
Ángel Meca has indicated that those affected by the route of the AVE have moved if they are worried about the delay in the formation of this Bureau, since they already know that the works were awarded several months ago and, therefore, the time has come to put Get to work to modify the constructive proposal.
The Councilor for Development for the PP has also denounced that the uncertainty that the Ministry of Development is generating in our region is being exponentially increasing due to the continuous delays to which it is submitting to the Popular Party plans for the arrival of the AVE to Lorca.
A new episode in this chain of marginalization that the PSOE is developing in this regard is that even today the technical assistance for the drafting of the project of the underground railroad tracks in its section through the urban area of ​​the municipality continues.
There is a "slowdown" by the PSOE against the arrival of the AVE.
We will not stop working so that the victims of Tercia and Villaespesa have their underpasses and the urban center with its completely underground layout, in addition to recovering the connection with Almería and Granada, which the PSOE, ruling in Lorca, Murcia and Madrid , destroyed in the 80s, starring in the most serious mistake in the history of rail connections in Spain.
