The Association of Friends of the Archaeological Museum of Lorca is pleased to inform you that the 2020 Golden Archer Awards have been awarded to José Luis Molina Martínez and the Lorca Library Network.
The “Golden Archer†awards were established in 2016 by the Association of Friends of the Archaeological Museum of Lorca in recognition of relevant people and entities of Culture in Lorca.
In the election of Mr. José Luis Molina Martínez, the jury valued his extensive career as a teacher and writer.
There are many publications in the field of literature, history, popular customs and mentalities, both in the section of poetry, narrative or essay, being the best specialist on some Lorca writers such as José M.ª Castillo Navarro and José Musso Valiente, who They have transcended the local sphere.
In the election of the Network of Libraries of Lorca the important role they play in the promotion and dissemination of reading, the right of all and the engine of progress, education and culture, with various actions that reach everyone, from the smallest, was valued even the elderly and minorities of all kinds.
The award consists of a sculpture in cast bronze and a diploma, which will be awarded to the winners on April 25 during a dinner organized for this purpose.
