" The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, reported this morning that "the Lorca City Council is finalizing the implementation of a Contingency Plan for the month of September to continue guaranteeing the provision of municipal services." The mayor of Lorca explained that "in this sense they will continue to comply with all the security protocols established by the health authorities that will be added to those that we have been applying from the local Administration since last May." Diego José Mateos has detailed "thanks to the Contingency Plan in which we are working, it will be possible to continue providing citizens with the different municipal public services, and always do so in agreement with the union representatives and with the Occupational Risk Prevention Service". Mateos has specified that "at the moment all possible alternatives are being studied, and among them is the possibility of establishing morning and afternoon care shifts, guaranteeing the quality of these services.

" The mayor of Lorca has also made reference to the actions that continue to be carried out from different areas in favor of security in the face of the pandemic, as is the case of the works that "through the municipal cleaning company Limusa we maintain daily cleaning and the disinfection, among others, of the streets and squares of the neighborhoods and districts of the entire municipality, as well as in the areas where a greater number of people are registered, and Parks and Gardens, which despite being closed, maintenance work continues.
" Diego José Mateos stressed that "with the passage of time we have seen the success of the application of measures such as not opening the municipal swimming pools or the closure of the artificial beach of Coy, which could have become major sources of contagion". Finally, the Mayor has once again appealed to the public for the correct compliance with individual safety measures, such as the mandatory use of a mask, hand hygiene, interpersonal distance, measures that since this past Sunday, others of an extraordinary nature have been adopted between the Ministry of Health and the autonomous communities due to the increase in cases of COVID-19, such as the closure of nightlife venues; in hotel, restaurant, terrace and bar / restaurant establishments, a minimum interpersonal distance of 1.5 meters must be guaranteed in the bar service and also between tables, with a maximum of 10 people per table.The prohibition of smoking on public roads and in public spaces provided that the minimum personal distance of two meters cannot be guaranteed; as well as recommending to citizens the limitation of social encounters outside the stable coexistence group and with a maximum of 10 people.
