The short film by Jesús Martínez Nota obtained three awards this past weekend (24/08/2020)

The Councilor for Culture of the Lorca City Council, María Ángeles Mazuecos, congratulated the filmmaker from Lorca, Jesús Martínez Nota, who this past weekend has won three awards with his latest work 'A guaranteed life'. The Councilor for Culture has detailed that "the work of the Lorca filmmaker has won the award for best short film at the Festival 'Corto ea Capo' and for best actress for the female cast formed by Luisa Gavasa and Nùria Prims at the 'SicilyFarm Festival of the city of Agrigento, in Italy, and the one of best actress for Luisa Gavasa, in the prestigious '17 Festival of Comedy of Tarazona and Moncayo 'in Aragonese lands ". María Ángeles Mazuecos recalled that "the film 'An assured life' has also won the award for best short film and best actress at the 'VIII Cádiar Short Film Festival' in Granada, and has already obtained more than 20 selections so far national and international, two of them eligible for the Goya awards ". It should be remembered that the short film was shot last August 2019 in the cities of Lorca and Murcia, and has had the collaboration of the Department of Culture and the Local Police of Lorca, as well as several companies in the Region of Murcia. The film's production, which is in charge of Producciones13 and the Madrid-born Jesús Soria PC, features actors and actresses of the stature of Luisa Gavasa (Goya award for "The Bride"), Núria Prims (Gaudí award for "Uncertain Glory") and Daniel Albaladejo ("El Cid", "Isabel", Actors Union Award for "Cámera Café"). Finally, the mayor of Culture has once again highlighted the work of the Lorca director Jesús Martínez Nota, whose latest have been selected in more than 250 national and international festivals (countries such as South Korea, United Kingdom, Poland, Canada, Brazil, Turkey , Argentina, France, Iran, Germany, Italy, Estonia, Serbia, Macedonia, USA, Greece ...) and have received more than twenty awards in national and international festivals, among which their recent shortlist for the 34 Goya awards stands out among the 10 best animation shorts in the country and the Silver Biznaga Audience Award at the 21st Malaga Film Festival with his animated short film "Eusebio80".
