Diego José Mateos has indicated that "from the City Council we are going to make available around 15,000 masks for children and adolescents and that they will be distributed among schools according to the needs they have, so that everyone can have this mandatory element that is the mask. Also, within our possibilities, from the Consistory we are collecting hygiene products such as hydroalcoholic gels for hand disinfection that will be made available to the different educational centers, with which we will also collaborate for the marking of new entry and exit areas to these facilities, in accordance with current regulations for this Covid-19 pandemic ". Mateos has detailed that to "coordinate access to educational centers, the Local Police of the municipality will continue to be counted on, through such an important figure in road safety education as the Tutor Police.

The agents will be in charge of ensuring that both the entry and exit from educational centers should always be carried out following health recommendations and that no crowds occur either at the beginning or at the end of the educational day ". Regarding cleaning, the Mayor has reiterated that "this is one more important aspect if possible in these times of coronavirus, and in which more must be influenced for the tranquility of the entire educational community, for that reason they are going to reinforce cleaning tasks, especially in places such as bathrooms and others of greater use, as well as with municipal personnel assigned to the different centers, who will carry out two disinfections of the playgrounds every day ". Mateos has reiterated that "our main intention continues to be that the children of our municipality, who are our future, despite the situation in which we find ourselves, can resume their educational activity in the best possible conditions and with all the guarantees.

, as well as the rest of the actors involved in the educational community: management teams, teachers, parents, etc ...

". Coordinated actions between the Government and the CCAA for educational centers On the other hand, the Mayor has highlighted the agreement reached between the Government and the Autonomous Communities with coordinated actions in Public Health against COVID-19 for educational centers.

A document, he recalled, "which includes the need to take up the face-to-face educational activity as a priority, adopting a series of prevention, hygiene and health promotion measures that guarantee the safe return to the classroom" . Mateos Molina recalled that this agreement "includes that as a general rule an interpersonal distance of 1.5 meters will be maintained, even so, stable coexistence groups will be established so that younger boys and girls can socialize and play with each other without having to keep that distance.

" This document also reflects that "the mask will be mandatory from the age of 6; update the recommendations on classroom ventilation that should be done frequently, at least for 10-15 minutes; and frequent hand hygiene, at least five times a day; the essential role of canteens is highlighted; and educational centers, which, as stated in the guide of measures released in June, must designate a person responsible for aspects related to COVID, among other measures.

" The educational centers will remain open throughout the school year ensuring dining room services, where permanent positions will be assigned throughout the year for students, as well as educational support for minors with special needs or socially vulnerable families, as long as the epidemiological situation allows it. Finally, the mayor of Lorca has insisted that "with the return to the classrooms we all play a lot.

It is a matter in which all administrations must make a great effort, putting all of our part, each one, that yes, to the extent of our possibilities and according to our level of responsibility and competence.

And as we have already said on our part, the City Council of Lorca is not going to spare any effort ".
