The Councilor for Development of the City of Lorca, Isabel Casalduero, has reported the upcoming execution, by the Consistory, of the waterproofing works of the Plaza de Vera, located in the Residencial Miguel Ángel.Casalduero has announced that "the Lorca City Council is going to assume the execution of the waterproofing works of the Plaza de Vera, located in the Residencial Miguel Ángel.

An action highly demanded by the residents of the Residential but which, however, does not it was included in the urban renewal project of Santa Clara Avenue ".The mayor explained that "these waterproofing works were not included in the project, but this team from the Government of Lorca being very aware of the request made by residents in the area, we decided to carry out this waterproofing with the Lorca City Council's own funds.

In addition, the aim is to coordinate the remaining works that are affected by this waterproofing, with the Autonomous Community who offered to agree the necessary money so that the City Council would also carry out the works ".Casalduero Jódar has detailed that "it will be the Lorca City Council who will execute, at the same time as the waterproofing of the Plaza, its repaving, as well as the renovation work of the services and the paving and asphalting of Molins de Reí street, these actions thanks to the agreement to be signed with the Regional Government ".The Councilor for Public Works has specified that "when the modification of the project, which is being developed by the Autonomous Community, is finished, the agreement will be signed, which will grant the Lorca City Council the funds destined to carry out these renovation works that will allow the completion of the urban renewal project of Santa Clara Avenue ".
