A travel agency claims the Consistory the cost of 30 trips to countries such as the United States, Malaysia, Qatar, Germany, Great Britain or the Czech Republic during the years 2013, 2014 and 2015. The Councilor for the Treasury of the Lorca City Council, Isidro Abellán, has announced the receipt of a new lawsuit for trips to various motorcycling circuits around the world. Abellán explained that "today, we want to publicly denounce that the Lorca City Council has received a demand of almost 90,000 euros for travel to all motorcycling circuits in the world during 2013, 2014 and 2015." The mayor has detailed that "this demand, which we received on November 10, includes the request to pay 33 bills ranging from 264 euros to 4,707.50 euros, most of these bills are around 2,500 and 3,000 euros and, many of them, neither appear broken down nor include the concept of the trip but the payment is demanded to the City council of Lorca ". Abellán Chicano has specified that "the demand is presented by a travel agency for services provided from 2013 to 2015 for trips to countries related to the motorcycle world championship.
Up to 30 trips to the motorcycle grand prix of the United States, Malaysia, Qatar, Germany, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, San Marino, Italy, the Netherlands, France, as well as the Spanish circuits of Jérez, Valencia and Barcelona ". The Councilor for the Treasury has advanced that "we are going to convene the Special Accounts Commission to demand explanations and find out who ordered these trips, in terms of what they were ordered and who traveled, as they are not justified because the Consistory does not have any type of record in this regard since there is no agreement or sponsorship that certifies the trips " Isidro Abellán has insisted that "this situation seems very worrying to us and it is the intention of this government team to reach the end of this matter because, supposedly, it is a misuse of public funds."
