The Councilor for Economy and Finance in the City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martínez, has informed the content of the project of municipal budgets for next year, amounting to 1,238,793.50 euros, reaching a specific economic amount of 74,936,388, 50 euros.
The pillars of the budget are efficiency in management, efficiency in investment and rigor in the control of public money.

We are talking about realistic accounts that respond to the socioeconomic reality of the municipality and consolidate the work of saving that has been done by this Municipal Executive over the last few years, and that have placed this City Council as a reference model in austerity and rigor, getting at the same time the reduction and freezing of municipal taxes.
Juan Francisco Martínez has indicated that it is a budget presided by the indication of our Mayor, Fulgencio Gil, to put social attention and stimulation of employment within the work of all municipal areas.
It is a slogan that has been followed as a master line for its preparation by the economic team of the City.
In fact, the money that will be used in the area of ​​social spending increases almost 1.2 million with respect to the previous year, reaching a magnitude of 5,655,783 euros.
