The Councilor for Culture and Celebrations of the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, has presented this morning the program of Christmas activities that the Lorca Consistory has made for this time and that has more than fifty acts aimed at all audiences, seniors and small, with special emphasis on the latter, since they are the true protagonists of these dates.
Agustín Llamas pointed out that "the program that is offered by the City Council, which began on December 1 with the Christmas proclamation of the Lorca Belenista Association, has as main objective to contribute to the social and cultural dynamization of Lorca during these dates, moving to our streets and squares a festive atmosphere thanks to the celebration of a wide and diversified range of events.This year among the novelties we can highlight the Christmas performances of the dance academies of the city in the Guerra Theater, Storytelling in charge of the Grandparents storytellers of the Department of the Mayor, playroom, painting workshops, magic and cooking for children, snowmen and carol concerts in different residences of the city.In addition, this year's living crib changes date to Saturday 23 December and the Royal Mailman will collect the letters of the children in the Ruano Garden ".
The Councilman of Culture has indicated that "the Christmas Program 2017 and Kings 2018 has been developed by the hand of several groups in the city, so it is a very dynamic programming and with different activities: Christmas concerts, dance, sports, theater , workshops, installation of children's attractions, cinema with free admission and exhibitions, etc. One of the objectives of the Lorca Consistory is to make this party to all corners so that both Lorca and visitors can enjoy the magic of Christmas in all its splendor, in this way from the City Council we encourage all families and all neighbors to enjoy the activities we have scheduled during this special time of the year.
