The Local Government Board approves Lorca give € 9,875 to a dozen families who qualify lorquinas marked by the Bureau for Development (16/07/2012)

The Councillor for Social Services City of Lorca, Maria del Carmen Ruiz, informed that the aid of the Bureau for Development approved by the Local Government Committee at its last meeting involving the sum of € 9,875 of which will benefit lorquinas ten families affected by the earthquakes of May 11, 2011.

- Aid for affected families whose financial resources are not sufficient to meet the needs of children, and this poses a risk to them (school materials or medical care, clothing ...)

- Financial assistance for improving family life in the new family structures created (family members who have benefited from other people at home).

Moving the headquarters of the Department of Social Services

These grants can be requested in the Department of Social Services, which today is shifting from the Civic Center of Alfonso X to the former headquarters of the Centre for Early Intervention, by the CLD.

The other help lines established by the Solidarity Committee can be requested in the citizen service established on the premises of the Single Desk for Reconstruction, next to the railway station Sutullena.

- Financial assistance for the rehabilitation of housing in Uptown (San Pedro Street, ironmongers, and Poplar Corner Male):

- € 8,100.
