In 2014 it distributed more than 14,000 kg of food to needy families.
On Saturday December 19 from 5:00 am to 17:00 pm at the Bar located on Highway Cordoba Caravaca, 45, it will hold a joint collection of nonperishable food and used clothing and toys not war nor sexist.
In addition, during that time a solidarity chain Energy will live program encouraging all listeners to participate in the collection.
If the 19th will not be in Lorca you can already go through the Bar Córdoba and deposit your contribution food, also participating in the draw for great gifts as a plasma TV.
Such food will be donated to the Local Assembly of the Spanish Red Cross in Lorca, which will distribute among families in need, while toys and clothes will be donated to Caritas Lorca.
You can also get food like pasta, tomato sauce, rice, canned food (tuna, beans, ...) and infant milk and adult.
In 2013 they were collected in the same initiative 1700 Kg of food in 2014 were 3500 kg and in 2015 we'll know on the 20th thanks to the solidarity of all citizens.
Thanks to this kind of solidarity initiatives, this institution is providing targeted assistance to all those who request it, thus helping to combat malnutrition, especially of children.
