The City of Lorca and Lorca Booksellers Association have held this morning in the committee room for a meeting to address different topics, among which was the dissemination and promotion Municipal Bond-Book and its management by Lorca part of the libraries.
At the meeting were present the mayors of Economics and Finance, Antonio Ibarra, Education and University, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, along with a broad representation of the Booksellers Association, with its president at the helm.
Among the agreements reached should be noted that shortly sign the agreement the parties involved to ensure greater flexibility in managing Municipal Bond-book 09-10, which favors Lorca libraries and families of the municipality may save a significant amount of finance to purchase textbooks for the next school year.
Another of the commitments is the dissemination and promotion of books among the public to promote reading.
