Last Tuesday, April 20 Senior Private San Diego celebrated "Mother's Day," an act involving all residents in the facility.
This is an initiative of social life which also took part family and friends of residents, along with staff of the Residence, so that gathered around 200 people.
The aim of the event was also to honor the mother figure, to revive the social life within the center.
The activity program was designed for this event as the beginning with a recital of poems by the residents themselves, who read compositions prepared for themselves about the feelings they arouse the mother figure.
The concert was attended by the "Chorus of San José", which developed its know-how to put the musical touch to the evening event.
At the end of the largest poetry reading he took over a memorial Mass celebrated by the pastor of the church of San Diego whose readings focused on the importance of mothers and their special significance for our culture and our faith.
Subsequently served a lunch for all attendees.
The event was attended by the Mayor Councillor for Policy of the Municipality of Lorca, Mari Carmen Ruiz, and representatives of associations "Alzheimer Lorca" and "Intiraymi" with the Center Director, Mari Juana Diaz Albaladejo.
