The City Councillor for NGO Lorca, Mari Carmen Ruiz, reported this morning that the Fibromyalgia Association Lorca (AFILOR) has organized the First Conference on Fibromyalgia, which will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 12 May at the Cultural Center City.
This conference will be opened by the president of AFILOR, Antonio Robles, at 19:00, who will follow the family medicine specialist and deputy director of Community Medical Health Area III, María José Ubeda, who will present the route care of coordination between primary care and hospital care for patients with fibromyalgia.
Then, the specialist in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, Anesthesia Service Assistant Hospital Rafael Méndez, José María Pastor, and the specialist of the Institute of Neurosciences at the University of Granada research group Fibromyalgia Brain and the Junta de Andalucia, Francisco Javier Hidalgo, will speak on "Fibromyalgia: pain is inevitable, and suffering should be optional."
Ruiz has expressed "unconditional support and close collaboration maintained by the City Council with this group, as with all those operating in the municipality."
It has also encouraged citizens to participate in these great days and has appealed to the generosity of Lorca to collaborate with the NGO that helps, supports and integrates with fibromyalgia patients. "
