Local Development Council Member of the City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, expressed his satisfaction with the good reception given to this call, for which the Consistory provided technical advice to stakeholders.

The Councillor for Employment and Local Development of the City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, has reported that 16 projects have been submitted to be funded by the European Funds EAFRD through local action group "Integral", that focuses on Northwest Region, which includes the hamlets high Lorca.
Ibarra expressed his satisfaction that "this call for aid promoted by several municipalities, among which is that of Lorca, has encouraged entrepreneurs of the highest in the city districts to develop projects which create jobs and economic revitalization, and social groups to prepare project facilitators in the area, to improve infrastructure and services to citizens, the total investment amounts to 2,721,786 euros. "
The Councillor pointed out that among the initiatives proposed include seven rural accommodation, two restaurants, improving an artisan company, restoration and rehabilitation of the Cross and Heart in Palm Zarcilla, the construction of two paddle courts in this same hamlet, expansion of community center with multipurpose room in La Paca, Creation Guide to good practice promoted by Hostelor, or the film program in villages.
Micro-productive projects will be allowed up to 45% of the investment, which would reach more than 50% for diversification initiatives farm activities, and up to 100% of the cost of non-productive projects, of which have presented six.
Moreover, within this European funding, the Council may receive grant for rural development projects.
Lali Ibarra explained that "in the coming months will resolve the call in late 2011 and will re-open another call for projects to be developed until 2013."
The Lorca districts that can receive these grants are: Avilés, Dońa Inés, La Paca, Zarcilla Palm Coy, Zarzalico, Zarzadilla of Totana, Béjar, La Tova, Fontanares, Ortilla, Torrealvilla, Nogalte, Humbria, Jarales and Culebrina .
