The Councillor for Development Cooperation of the Municipality of Lorca, Mari Carmen Ruiz, along with the President of UNICEF in Lorca, Pilar Lopez, and the President of Lorca Paddle Club, Jesus Morenilla, have reported that during the coming weekend will develop in our city a charity tournament in the sport whose funds will go towards the reconstruction of Haiti.
It is an activity that will have three simultaneous stages such as the existing paddle tennis courts at the sports city of La Torrecilla, the tennis club Los Alamos, and Torre del Obispo.
The tournament will start next Friday and runs until Sunday.
Sources of the event organizers have noted that many companies have already collaborated Lorca as volunteers in the implementation of the tournament.
It is recalled that last year and developed a charity tournament too which were funds that were intended for implementation of high hope.
So far have enrolled a total of 86 couples not only from Lorca, but in different municipalities of the region of Guadalentín as Totana, Eagles and Puerto Lumbreras.
For the course of the tournament have been established 4 categories, grouped in Male, Female, Mixed, Masters (+40 years) and Children (Under 16 Under 16 male and female).
In the market of male and female categories have articulated other 3 subcategories, namely 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd, depending on the level of participants.
During the course of the tournament will enable a clothing collection service in 3 stages hosting the event.
The clothes will be given to charity later.
Registration is being coordinated by Lorca Paddle Club through their website (www.padelorca.es) and have a price of 30 € per couple in general and 20 € for children.
It has also enabled a bank account for donations Cajamar income and whose number is 3058 0201 66 27200019598.
