This is a new local action to benefit the families of our municipality who have school-age children.

Parents can get the "Bono-Book" in their respective schools.

The Secretary of the Local Government of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, has announced that the city council will spend around € 95,000 for the purchase of textbooks for students in Year 6 of primary education.

Peñarrubia noted that the City Council is to support families of our community who have children studying at this level of education.

We believe that education is a cornerstone of policy actions, so it is a priority action.

We found a significant social demand produced in recent years aimed at obtaining grants from the government to offset the costs they cause to families at the beginning of each school year the acquisition of textbooks and supplementary materials.

For this reason we continue the program "Municipal Bond-Book," which was launched during the year 2007-2008 to complement the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, based on the principles of solidarity and sufficiency, with goal of qualifying for such aid virtually all families Lorca.
