The events, organized by the Department of Equality and Sports of the City of Lorca, include a special prize for women in the race "Run x Lorca", a personal defense workshop, the nocturnal hiking route "Lorca on foot 2018", a day of Aquagym, the awareness workshop "Flechas Rosas", urban trekking "Route of the Ancient Sources of Lorca" and, finally, a hiking route by Puntas de Calnegre accompanied by alternative sports and dance workshops
The Councilors of Equality and Sports of the City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martínez and Juan Miguel Bayonas, respectively, have presented this morning the XXV edition of the Sports Meetings of Collectives of Women of Lorca, to be held on 13, 16, 18, May 22, 25 and 29 and June 1 in different points of our municipality.
These meetings will have seven varied sports activities.
Juan Francisco Martínez stressed that "these sporting events will be held in our city with the aim of encouraging physical activity and coexistence among women with the participation of women in sports activities that can be carried out throughout the year. This, from the Department of Equality and Sports contact the members of the various groups of women in the municipality to develop a program of events according to their needs.Although they are sporting events for women, all activities are open to the participation of all Lorca, regardless of their gender ".
The Councilor for Equality has indicated that "this year the program of events has 7 activities in which it is expected to exceed 750 participants that we achieved in the previous edition, 170 more than in 2016.
