Mateos ensures that the project to improve road safety and accessibility to the Castle of Lorca and the upper districts is "fundamental" for the development of the municipality, so it would not understand that the PP has led to its cancellation by planning " a salto de mata "that are doing the works in Lorca

The spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has shown his concern for the stoppage of the construction project of a roundabout to improve access to the Castle from the RM-701, also known as the Parroquia road.

Mateos has shown that this project, necessary to improve road safety and accessibility to the Castle and the whole of the upper neighborhoods, has been paralyzed for months, despite the announcements and promises that the PP government team knew how to do. , and for which, in addition, several plots of land were expropriated, through the joint appraisal procedure, in the plenary session held last June 2017.

"We find ourselves pointing to a few weeks that one year has passed since the Plenary Session of the City Council of Lorca approved the expropriation of several lands for the execution of this roundabout, nothing has been known since then."

That is why Mateos will ask Gil Jódar to clarify at the next plenary session whether there will be a roundabout to improve access to the Castle, or if, on the contrary, we Lorca are "another of many projects" that the PP knows how to announce for " let them die ", as a result of the planning" a salto de mata "with which they are managing the works in Lorca.

Mateos sees "worrying" the "silence" that the Mayor maintains around this project, as well as that of the evacuation road of the upper neighborhoods, also "paralyzed".

For this reason, Gil Jódar will be asked to clarify in which state of processing is, and what deadlines for execution and budget are currently being considered for the realization of these works.

For Mateos, both infrastructures are "very necessary" as they are considered "vital" for the development of the municipality, since they are called to improve the connections of the city and speed up communications between the city and the Castle and the High Neighborhoods.
