The City Council demands the maintenance of the IBI bonus for those affected by the earthquakes for next year (06/06/2018)

Martínez Carrasco has indicated that this is a measure that would be linked to the exemptions and bonuses that the City Council has achieved since the earthquakes occurred in 2011, and that we believe that citizens deserve, given that there are still homes that do not They have completed their reconstruction process.

The Councilor for Economy and Finance in the City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martínez, has reported that the Municipal Council will require the maintenance of the 50% bonus of the Real Estate Tax to those affected by earthquakes for next year, once the aid corresponding to this year has been collected within the General Budgets of the State, whose processing is currently proceeding in the Senate.

Martínez Carrasco has indicated that this is a measure that would be linked to the exemptions and bonuses that the City Council has achieved since the earthquakes occurred in 2011, and that we believe that citizens deserve, given that there are still homes that do not They have completed their reconstruction process.

Councilman of Economy has indicated that another of the advances that have been collected in the PGE this year is the granting of 3 million euros for investments in districts that we had been requesting from the Government of Spain in recent years, and that add up to the 3 million that were also allocated to districts at the end of last year.

Juan Francisco Martinez has explained that the most dangerous risk against the bonus of the IBI to those affected by the earthquakes had been put by the PSOE for its obsessive rejection against the general budgets of the state, those that now defend by force of arms by imposition of the nationalists Basques

Now, as Municipal Administration, we are especially vigilant to continue achieving the best for Lorca, and demanding that the investments committed to our city do not touch, what's more, we want them to expand.

The Economy Minister has stressed that if it does not become for the PP, this year those affected by the earthquakes would have had to pay 100% of the IBI.

That is the reality, although some bother them.

Moreover, the rejection of some parties was also about to ruin the 3 million euros in investments that we have for our districts, and it was the work and the momentum from this City Council that managed to retain them.

On the criticisms made by the PSOE this morning, Martínez Carrasco said that "we do not want to think that the PSOE leaders in Madrid are shuffling and taking away the 50% IBI bonus and that is why they send their councilors to appear today by putting on the sell before receiving the stone ".

El Edil de Economía has confirmed that "our leaders are Lorca, unlike the PSOE, who defends his party before Lorca." Mr. Abellán should be more concerned to control his desire for notoriety, that leads him to uncover issues internal and external to get noticed. What the City will demand for next year is that the Government of Spain maintain the bonus of the IBI, something that this city deserves.
