The spokesman of IU-Greens, Pedro Sosa, affirms that the lack of planning, the use of the same companies for all the works of Lorca and the already little consideration of the PP governments towards the neighborhood are harming neighbors and merchants.

A large group of neighbors and merchants around the main street of the neighborhood of San Cristóbal and its confluence with puddle and turbinto streets, accompanied this morning the Speaker of the Municipal Group of IU-V, Pedro Sosa, in his appearance on foot of street before the local mass media to denounce the evident delay that accumulates the work that is executed in the Turbinto street of the district of San Cristóbal.

The neighbors denounce that for two months the tremendous open hole in the aforementioned road keeps the street cut, and most of the days without operators working on the work.

The circumstance arises that Turbinto Street is a compulsory passage for the transit of vehicles and people between the River Walkway and the boulevard, the Sacred Heart School, Charco Street and the heart of the neighborhood on Main Street, and such circumstance is causing obvious harm to neighbors, to the entire Sacred Heart educational community and to the many merchants in the commercial area of ​​the neighborhood who, already on their own and on the sidelines of the work, do not have all of them for the smooth running of their businesses before the lack of parking areas and other services that could make that commercial area more attractive in San Cristóbal

The Councilman of IU-V has returned to denounce the usual scant consideration that the governments of the PP, both in Lorca and in the region of Murcia, have towards the neighborhood of San Cristóbal.

Around here they appear in Holy Week "to process" and until next year, Sosa points out, they do not step on the neighborhood again.

In this sense the mayor says that other works that are executed and have been executed in the city do not accumulate so much delay in terms of its small size, or so many days of paralysis with the open hole, the streets cut and no one working on the work.

Another circumstance denounced by Sosa is that the works always fall on the same bidding companies and, in turn, on the outsourced companies themselves, which, in addition to being unfair to countless small entrepreneurs and self-employed workers in Lorca, also contributes to the delay in the executions.
