CCOO Teaching denounces the lack of personnel in the CEE Pilar Soubrier de Lorca (28/06/2018)

CCOO Teaching requires that measures be taken to increase the staff of complementary educational services and ensure safety in the performance of their work.

CCOO Teaching has been denouncing for some time that the absence of a ratios agreement for ATEs, Physicians and Nurses, Educators, etc., makes it impossible to objectively assign the necessary workers in educational centers.

In the absence of such an agreement, the Directorate General of Attention to Diversity of the Ministry of Education assigns the workers to meet the needs in a qualitative manner, we understand that this assignment is not transparent at all and this has repercussions in a generalized underfunding of workers of said Profiles

This situation of lack of personnel of complementary educational services is especially serious in the CEE Pilar Soubrier.

For some years, it has been referred to the center to students with serious behavior disorders drastically changing their nature and the type of work to be performed in it.

This profile of students requires a greater amount of resources that is evident in the increase in the number of aggressions and casualties of workers.

Situation that is aggravated because the casualties are not replaced at the moment due to the slowness of the substitutions and the exhaustion of the list of interns of educational technical assistants of the Lorca area, which delays the substitutions when having to be managed at through the SEF.

While it is true that the Ministry of Education has shown concern about the situation of this ECE visiting several times, the truth is that they have not taken measures to alleviate the serious lack of staff of educational services that the center suffers and is putting danger to their workers.

CCOO Teaching requires that urgent measures be taken to reinforce the staff of the Pilar Soubrier taking into account the peculiarity of its students.

It is of vital importance that ratios are negotiated as a matter of urgency that adjust to the reality of the student body with which the peers and classmates of this and other educational centers have to work.
