The deputy spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Isidro Abellán has demanded the withdrawal of the "advertising car" installed in the Plaza de España.
The information offered by this campaign is "erroneous" by "outdated", because with this what was intended was to report the cost of the bus service to access Calnegre's coves.
Abellán recalls that two weeks ago the bus service was eliminated to access Lorca's beaches, so he does not understand why this "publicity element" is still in the Plaza de España, as well as "out of tune" with the tourist environment " offers Lorca and visitors wrong information about access to our beaches. "
The suspension of the agreement signed by the City of Lorca with the Autonomous Community, both governed by the Popular Party and with which they intended to impose measures restricting access to the Lorca beaches, and therefore, the elimination of bus service, arrived after several neighborhood protests and after a motion in which the PSOE requested the "precautionary suspension" of these measures until an agreement was reached with the residents of the parishes of the Natural Park.
In addition to their withdrawal, from the PSOE want to know how much is the cost of this advertising campaign, financed with public money and that this money is reinvested, in addition to a better promotion of the Lorca Litoral, in the increase of care tasks and cleaning of the beaches of Puntas de Calnegre.
Abellán says that the Popular Party is still in time to do "something positive" for our beaches, instead of continuing to generate polemics and problems "where before there were none".
