The spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has denounced the daily saturation recorded by the Municipal Census Office, in the palace of Villaescusa.
The lack of personnel to expedite the provision of this service, joins a "outdated" citation system that prevents prior appointment and the possibility of doing so through the Internet.
Mateos has shown that the situation that is recorded daily in the offices of Villaescusa is "shameful" and "improper for a municipality of a municipality such as Lorca."
The statistical service is one of the most demanded by Lorca, for what regrets that the new facilities, recently remodeled, have not served to solve the problems of overcrowding or the long waits that users find to access certain procedures.
To solve this problem faced by users and municipal workers, Mateos is committed to move towards the digital modernization of the municipal administration, so that Lorca has a 21st century administration, and not remain stagnant in the last century.
Regarding the specific problem of the municipal census office, Mateos is committed to strengthening the staff with which, in addition to alleviating waiting and streamlining its operation, strengthen and make more efficient the attention to the citizen while unloading the pressure of workers who are "overwhelmed".
Mateos denounces that the personnel losses are not being covered, which causes the daily "collapse".

In this sense, Mateos has missed "more agility" by the government team when it comes to foreseeing this situation and contemplating "reinforcements" to give more agility to the service.
