The president of FERICAB and mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil Jódar, has presented this morning at the Integral Center for Training and Agricultural Experiences (CIFEA) a new edition of the Horse Fair of Lorca that will take place from 9 to 14 October in the fairground of the Huerto de la Rueda.
FERICAB maintains as central axis of its program the Competition CDN ** of Dressage Classics-ANCCE Cup and the National Morfofunctional Contest of purebred Spanish qualifier for ANCCE Cup.
In both the participation of national and international studs is expected with a number of copies similar to that of past editions.
A figure that is yet to be determined since the registration period remains open.
Most of the participating riders come from Murcia, Andalusia, Madrid, Valencia, Extremadura, Valencia, Castilla La Mancha and Catalonia.
Organized by the City Council of Lorca in collaboration with the Regional Government and the National Association of Purebred Spanish Horse Breeders (ANCCE), FERICAB has become one of the first five fairs of the Spanish National Purebred circuit.
Since 2013 it has the category of international contest and since 2010 is placed within the Category A
FERICAB 2018 adds to the competitions of the last edition two novelties: the celebration of the II Intercomunidades Cup of High School, and a territorial and social test of dressage.
The Fair will host the VIII Indoor Hooks FERICAB and the II High School Absolute Championship in collaboration with the Horse Riding Federation of the Region of Murcia.
The mayor has also announced the name of the honoree in this edition of FERICAB.

The equestrian shows planned will take place on October 12 and 13 by Santi Serra and the equestrian club Vibeca.
They will stage 'Flying Free' and 'Beautiful Horse Winds', respectively.
Gil Jódar recalled that FERICAB "is a reference fair in which, in addition to the participants in the different competitions, there are many lovers of the equestrian world that are in our region."
