The PSOE regrets the "hard face" of the PP to now demand from the Government of Spain the aid for the rent that Rajoy had for a year and a half (04/10/2018)

Navarro asks the PP to stop doing "politicking" with the suffering of those affected by the earthquakes and be loyal to the Government of Spain to help these families.

"The PP now demands payment of aid because it knows that a PSOE government is going to meet these families, to correct what the Government of Rajoy never did"

The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Antonio Navarro has lamented the cynicism of the Popular Party and the "hard face" of now demanding the Government of Spain rent aid that the government of Rajoy, with the approval of the local PP and regional, kept "retained and restrained" for a year and a half.

"With statements and actions like this, the PP shows how little they have cared during these years the suffering of these families."

Navarro asks the PP that it is time to stop doing "politicking" with the wounds of the earthquake that are still open, and to be loyal to the Government of Spain to help the victims.

This has been expressed by the PSOE mayor in response to the "unfortunate statements" of the Councilor Patricio Valverde, who now asks the Government of Spain for the effort they did not ask the previous government, Rajoy to unlock the payment of aid pending for rent .

The Development Minister has now referred to an agreement that ended in May 2017 and had to be renewed then.

In fact, it was at the meeting of the Mixed Commission, in February 2017, that is, a year and a half ago, when the extension of the rent subsidies was requested "that the previous Government of Rajoy never carried out".

Navarro reproaches that during this year and a half, under the Government of Rajoy, no one in the Popular Party will remember those affected by the rents, who still have to pay rent and mortgage loan in many cases.

In particular, the whopping amount of more than 4.5 million euros in this concept.

In fact, this was reflected during the debate of a motion in the last plenary session of the Lorca City Council, in which, unlike the exercise of cynicism of the Regional Government, the Mayor and the councilor of the earthquake recognized that if those affected had not received his aid during all these years was due to the lack of will of the previous government of the PP, of Mariano Rajoy, and not because of the management carried out by the new government during these barely 100 days.

However, the new Government of Spain is indeed working on the signing of this new agreement to resolve the files of applications for pending rent extensions as well as the approved rent payments of aid and still pending payment by the Joint Commission of date February 17, 2017. "This government is going to unblock the payment of the pending aid".
