The districts are every year very present in the agenda of the Sports Games Guadalentín, hosting activities and tours taking advantage of the enormous advantages offered by a municipality as large and varied as Lorca.
Examples we are not lacking: sport fishing in Puntas de Calnegre, golf, orientation or, above all, the Healthy Monday that in this edition are traveling from deputation to deputation.
But there is an activity that every year comes to Almendricos to put the youngest ones to enjoy the king sport.
We refer to the Futsal Tournament in Pedanías that brings together in each edition young players of Almendricos and other nearby councils and that this occasion gathered over the morning of Saturday to more than 40 players in the Pavilion of this deputation marking, by the way , a record of participation.
The system of game consisted of liguillas by categories, alevín and cadet, with the objective that they will play all against all and will enjoy a complete morning of sport and coexistence.
The winners in category alevín were the players and players of the team "Almendricos", seconds were "The champions" and third were "Los beasts".
As for the cadets, it was imposed in the general classification "FC Almendricos", second was "Los Jamones", while in third place was the "Nacho Team".
