This morning, the Vice-speaker of the Government Team of the City Council of Lorca, Fátima Mínguez, encouraged all Lorca to attend next Friday, October 12, Columbus Day, at the ceremony of exaltation of the Spanish flag to be held in the Plaza de Colón.

Fátima Mínguez has indicated that "the Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, will preside over this act and will be in charge of raising the national flag." It should be noted that the flag of Spain that will be hoisted has a surface area of ​​two by four meters and will fly on a mast 15 meters high, which since 2007 presides Plaza de Colón ".
