Mateos regrets the lack of foresight of the Mayor at the time of agreeing the decision that the commercial areas can open during the feast of the patron of Lorca, of great roots for Lorca, without taking into account the different points of view and interests of all the affected groups.

Mateos asks Gil Jódar to mature his proposal so that it is not a hasty decision.

The spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has demanded that the Mayor reconsider his position and agreed with all groups affected his decision to allow the opening of commercial areas on the day of the local festival of San Clemente.

"The necessary dialogue between the different parties has been lacking to achieve the consensus of all the agents involved."

Mateos remembers that for the Lorca November 23 exists before the "Black Friday", and it is a holiday, the Patron of the city of Lorca, deep roots between Lorca and Lorca.

In this sense, Mateos has missed that the Mayor devoted the necessary foresight and sensitivity to have the interests of the groups involved, the first of the employees, who would be affected by the reduction of one of their days off with reason for this local festivity.

That is why Mateos has asked to study the possibility of compensating these employees with the authorization of another local holiday, alternative, so that this group is not depleted of the possibility of enjoying their right to rest in a so important and important day for all the Lorca, as it is on November 23.

Similarly, Mateos believes that this decision adopted by the Mayor could also affect those who were interested in enjoying the traditional day of coexistence in the castle of Lorca organized every November 23 for the enjoyment of the whole population, and as not among the organizers themselves, since many of them, for work reasons, would be affected by this decision, which would make it impossible for them to collaborate in the preparation of this festive and convivial day.
