Everything good ends.
After 6 weeks of sports, the 40 Guadalentín Sports Games came to an end on Sunday morning.
The honor of bidding farewell to this special edition of the Lorca Olympics corresponded on this occasion to the exhibition of rhythmic and aesthetic gymnastics organized by Club Gymnos and that brought together at the Felipe VI Sports Complex a hundred gymnasts from all over the regional geography.
Specifically, 4 clubs took part: Santomera Rhythm, Murcia Gymnastics Club, Murcia Gymnos 85 and Gymnos Ciudad del Sol. The exhibition was composed of 32 performances, from rhythmic singles to team aesthetics with more than 6 participants.
The young gymnasts, between 6 and 23 years old, exhibited their best performances with tape, mace, hoops or ball.
Among them it was possible to see Lorca Paula Sánchez, the very young champion of Spain in the baby category who showed at home the reason for her success.
The rest of the participating teams and gymnasts shone with her, who put the finishing touch to the fortieth edition of Guadalentín Sports Games.
