When the draft of the project is available, all the residents, residents, merchants and hoteliers will be summoned to know all the details about the most important investment in the history of the neighborhood.

The councilor of Works in the City of Lorca, Angel Mecca, has reported that the City Council and the Ministry of Development will agree with the residents of the neighborhood of San Antonio works of comprehensive improvement in the area, including the burial of the current knot circulation that constitutes access with the highway.

For this purpose, all the neighbors will be called to a working meeting so that they themselves can make their contributions, suggestions and proposals, in order to be included in the final project of this action.

This is a line of work that has been followed by both administrations in all the comprehensive improvement works that are being carried out in our municipality to recover everything damaged by the severe earthquakes of 2011.

Ángel Meca has anticipated that the neighborhood groups have already been informed that as soon as they have a draft of the project they plan to carry out, they will convene this meeting, as has been done in La Viña, Los Ángeles, Fuerzas Armed, Alameda de Cervantes and Avenida Juan Carlos I, among other enclaves.

Councilman Works has indicated that the investment that will materialize in the neighborhood of San Antonio is the most ambitious investment of many that have been made in the area throughout its history.

With it, the modernization and improvement of this urban area is pursued, achieving its full connection with the urban area, overcoming the obstacles of access to the highway.

This action will allow to contribute to the flow of traffic, eliminating the disastrous underpasses that have given such a painful result.

Angel Meca has stressed that it will not happen with the works in this neighborhood as with the unfortunate underground steps that the PSOE made at the time against the opinion of neighbors, without anyone and with their backs to common sense, in addition to having cost a kidney that could have served to really improve the neighborhood, but squandered millions in a real fudge.
