The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has once again requested the settlement of the municipal sports facilities of Los Tollos, located in the hamlet of La Hoya Lorca.

Mateos has once again highlighted the shameful state of neglect that these "highly demanded" sports facilities present, since he remembers that it is a daily training place for hundreds of boys and girls from grassroots football, as well as local teams of different categories.

Mateos has once again asked Gil Jódar for an improvement and maintenance plan for these facilities.

The Socialist Spokesman claims to have lost count of the times that the PSOE has requested this arrangement, without response from the City Council.

It is a widespread complaint among parents of children who come every day to facilities that the Popular Party has left to die, with their years of neglect and a lack of continued maintenance over time, the as it happens in many other sports facilities in the municipality.

The socialist responsible has placed special emphasis on the need presented by the field to improve the lighting system, in a definitive way.

The recent improvements carried out by the City of Lorca have been "insufficient" because it has not completely solved the lack of lighting.

In the same way, Mateos has demanded the conditioning of the furniture and the changing rooms, as well as the conditioning of the perimeter of the football field with artificial turf.

Diego José Mateos denounces that it is a "danger" for the players that the sides of the field continue without any protection, with the concrete in sight, as well as the posts of the sprinklers, which are not properly padded.

In addition, one of the soccer fields 7, attached to the main one, continues to have subsidence that prevents its normal use.

Broken protection fences, broken goal meshes, or very deteriorated changing rooms and benches are another example of how the Popular Party has caused apathy to invade these sports facilities.
