The construction of the first building of tourist flats and the arrival of leading international companies in sports, DIY and automotive stimulate the urban and commercial sector (18/10/2018)

It has requested a license to the Department of Urban Planning, in addition, to build a new block of 38 homes between the streets Infante Juan Manuel, Camino Viejo del Puerto and Chapistería, with 38 storage rooms and 50 parking spaces.

The Town Planning Councilor in Lorca City Council, María Saturnina Martínez, has reported that this municipal area is registering over the past few months a notable boom in applications for licenses and presentation of new projects that shows that the recovery of the business sector in Our city is an unquestionable reality, and it can be clearly appreciated, both in the number of new homes in promotion, and in the opening of new businesses and activities that will represent not only important investments and the creation of jobs, but also that we consider will be an attraction for our city to come customers and visitors of these new activities that will be implemented.

The mayor of Urbanism has said that in regard to the residential development sector, is currently working from the Urban Planning Area to shortly grant two new housing actions, one of them also linked to hotel use.

In the housing chapter, we must point out that the company Proalmur SL has presented a project to build 38 homes on Infante Juan Manuel street, corner with Camino Viejo del Puerto and Calle Chapistería.

We are talking about an initiative that is planned to run on a plot of 1,715 m², in which, in addition to the 38 homes, the construction of 38 storage rooms and 50 garage spaces, as well as premises on the ground floor, is planned.

Satur Martinez has anticipated that the building will consist of a total of 4 plants, and in addition to the execution of the works for the construction of the houses, the project contemplates the opening of an interior street of new creation in the fate of the Unit of Performance 79 of the General Plan.

The total investment to be executed amounts to € 2,644,892.

The councilor of Urbanism has indicated that Lororplor Lorca company is finalizing the presentation of two projects to build the total of the plot that occupied the old gas station Gálvez.

This plot has 2 plots, one dedicated to housing and the other to tertiary use.

In order to build the housing plot, a project of 29 houses is presented, which we have already mentioned previously.

The novelty in this particular is a site intended for tertiary use with an area of ​​362 m², located between La Seda Street and the future pedestrian plaza, which the property has decided to dedicate to hotel use for tourist apartments.

It is the first time in Lorca that a promoter formally accepts this form of tourist accommodation that regulates the Tourism Law of the Region of Murcia, Law 12/2013.

Satur Martinez has anticipated that the projected building has a total of 19 apartments.

The basement and semi-basement floors will be used for parking and the ground floor will be used as a diaphanous floor to establish commercial premises.

In the 5 upper floors a total of 19 tourist apartments will be built, which are equipped with the following distribution: living-dining-kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms, except on the top floor that will be 1 bedroom.

The total investment planned to undertake this building is € 912,505.

Once it is built, Lorca will have another tourist accommodation initiative, as is happening in other large and medium cities of our country, which will undoubtedly serve to attract visitors and complete the hotel offer of our city.

The mayor of Urbanism has stressed that with regard to the implementation of new businesses and activities, the Urban Planning Department of the City of Lorca has granted building permission to the Würth Group to adapt a warehouse in the Polygon of Los Peñones.

This group is dedicated to the sale of products of machinery, clothing, hardware, hardware, primarily its sale is aimed at professionals in the sector such as the automobile, industrial vehicles, metal, installers, construction, maintenance and wood.

This multinational group has more than 300,000 professional clients in all of the aforementioned sectors throughout Spain.

The works for the adaptation of the ship have a budget that amounts to € 43,000.

The choice of Lorca to settle will be an attraction for these customers, not only our city also for those of nearby municipalities, contributing to the opening of this facility to consolidate the centrality of Lorca in the Guadalentín region.

On the other hand, the arrival of the Murias group, new owners of the Almenara Shopping Center, is assuming the improvement and adaptation of the shopping center with different actions that are being carried out since its arrival in our city.

In this way they are undertaking: works of aesthetic improvement of the main facade, as well as other actions for the rearrangement of traffic, installation of modern awnings in the parking lot of the Center, as well as covering corridors of the commercial area.

These are actions that involve a joint investment of € 600,000.

In addition to these changes and improvements, they are carrying out a task of capturing new businesses that will open shortly.

In this way, in the Urban Planning Area, there is evidence that in a few days a project will be presented to obtain an opening license for a well-known brand of sports establishments, which also bets on our city.

We also know that in a short time the installation of a reference mark in the world of DIY will be announced, which will qualify the municipality's appeal even more.

With these additions will be enhanced the center of media activities of the shopping center that is located next to the central building of the park.

The arrival of these commercial firms in Lorca shows that our municipality inspires confidence in top brands of recognized prestige, whose implementation is an opportunity to boost the labor market.

To the marks already indicated will be added soon other signatures that have already begun the procedures for their settlement in Lorca, whose process we will inform as they progress.
