Years of PP government punish the municipality of Lorca making it one of the most impoverished in the region (22/10/2018)

The Tax Agency reveals that Lorca moves away from the head of the municipalities with the highest disposable income per capita, relegated to the 17th position in the Region of Murcia, well behind Murcia, Cartagena and Molina de Segura.

"The PP has managed to corner Lorca, very far from the position we deserve as head of county and sub-regional capital"

The deputy spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Isidro Abellán has lamented the "nefarious indicators" made public by the Tax Agency with which it becomes clear that the municipality of Lorca has become, after more than a decade of PP government , in one of the most impoverished of all the Region of Murcia.

This is the main conclusion that can be drawn from the "Statistics of Declarants by Municipalities" presented every year by the Tax Agency.

A statistic that offers a comprehensive perspective of personal income, both gross and available.

As reported by Abellán from the public data offered by the Tax Agency, in general terms, the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia is an impoverished community, if we compare it with respect to the whole of the Spanish state, and in turn, Lorca, it is an impoverished municipality with respect to the whole of the CARM.

In terms of Average Gross Income, the municipality of Lorca is both below the national average and below the average for the Region.

In particular, Lorca occupies the position number 17, despite being the third by population, well behind Molina de Segura (1 °), Murcia (2 °) and Cartagena (3 °).

At the national level, Lorca occupies the position number 1522 within the Spanish state in Gross Average Rent, when by population Lorca is the number 70 of the country.

If the Available Income per inhabitant is analyzed, that is, the average income available to Lorca to consume, the citizens of Lorca are the least income available to spend.

In average terms, each inhabitant of Spain, in 2016 disposed of € 9,588 to be able to consume, while in the CARM each inhabitant disposed of € 7,586.

Well, in Lorca each inhabitant had only € 6,975.

"Undeniable data" says Isidro Abellán, who "show where the Popular Party has led to Lorca."

"They have sunk Lorca, they have cornered her."

"Whoever returns to Lorca after being away for 11 years will find a city with a lot of cobblestones and very wide pavements, but with a tremendously weakened economic activity, with a number of unemployed twice as much as then or with a sector of commerce completely suffocated," the socialist mayor

"Eleven years in which we have gone from competing with Murcia and Cartagena, at virtually all levels, to complete irrelevance at the regional level."

"Everything, in large part by a government of the Popular Party exhausted, without ideas and completely umiso before the interests of what they want their heads of Murcia and Madrid."

The PSOE ensures that it is time to recover and fight for the place we deserve, which is none other than the subregional capital and county seat, although for this Lorca can not count on what led us to this situation and have not done nothing in 11 years to avoid it.
